Agents of the law enforcement agencies involved in the effort, including the Stanislaus DEA, predicted in a release that the drug seizure will create a noticeable disruption to the availability of the drug in the area.
The Stanislaus DEA is a collaborative effort among the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department, city police departments within the county and federal agencies.
Luis Bartolo Madriz Sandavol, a 32-year-old from Everett, Wash., and Victor Ramiro Torres, a 23-year-old Ceres resident, were arrested near the home on methamphetamine possession and sales charges and booked into Stanislaus County Jail in Modesto.
Other arrests may be forthcoming, according to the release.
Agents of the Stanislaus DEA, Modesto Narcotics Enforcement Team and Homeland Security Investigations served a search warrant at 2112 Hardy Court after receiving an anonymous tip that drugs might be kept there.
Investigators found the methamphetamine concealed in several storage containers, according to the release.
