I saw the front page about the skate park last week. My son has a passion for skateboarding. From 3 to 7 p.m. is when all the trouble is going on. The problem with that is parents are often on the road trying to get home and cannot monitor their children. When you guys say the police are out there, I noticed they’re parked way too close to the senior center, too far away to catch the few bad apples that give a bad name to the kids that truly want to skate.
The kids have nothing to do, and I was born and raised here in this town. Instead of focusing on making this town grow, you should be focusing on finding ways to keep these kids busy.
