Two Patterson residents, Gregory Cornwell and Lisa Pebbles, have been recognized by Des Moines Community College in Iowa for excellent grades during the fall semester.

Cornwell, who graduated from the college in fall 2012 with a major in mortuary science, had a perfect 4.0 GPA and was named to the president’s list.

Pebbles, a veterinary technology major, was among the students earning a place on the dean’s list with a 3.5 to 3.99 GPA.
