Patterson True Value ‘Holidays’ Farmers Market

WHERE: In front of Patterson True Value Hardware, 1040 W. Las Palmas Ave.

DETAILS: Patterson Farmers’ Market will be extending their hours to Saturdays for the upcoming holiday season. Director Carol Bogdanich said the newest installment would offer a festive ambiance for adults and youth alike.

Wednesday, Oct. 9 to Oct. 30

Youth Theatre Workshop

WHEN: 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

DETAILS: The Patterson Repertory Theatre is hosting its October sessions every Wednesday for its Youth Workshops for youth ages 6-to 12-years-old.

Girl Scouts work on service project

WHEN: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHERE: Marigold Drive, Phlox Drive, Daisy Drive, Lavender Lane, Daylily Lane and Azalea Lane

DETAILS: Girl Scouts of Central California has a new community service project that benefits local schools. The Scouts in Troop 2253 are collecting gently used clothing and coats in sizes 2T to size 8 for boys and girls, as well as feminine hygiene products and deodorant for students at school. Scouts will also collect bedding, blankets, and sheets for twin-sized beds, as well as travel-sized toiletries for Helping Others Sleep Tonight (H.O.S.T.) homeless shelter.

The Girl Scouts will deliver donation bags from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 and then pick up the full bags the following week on from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. on Friday, Oct. 18.

All My Brothers Band performs

WHEN: Show starts at 8 p.m.; doors open at 7 p.m.

WHERE: Westside Theatre, 1331 Main St., Newman

DETAILS: Al My Brothers Band has merged the music of Southern Rock with Southern California Country Rock and created their show in their own musical style. The band is the same five musicians that performed as the Boys of Summer, the Eagles tribute band back in January.

Morris performs Cline tribute

WHEN: Show begins at 8 p.m.; Doors open at 7 p.m.

WHERE: Westside Theatre, 1331 Main St., Newman

DETAILS: Joni Morris of Stockton has traveled nationally for the past 15 years with her four piece band showcasing Patsy Cline songs. Morris transports the audience back to the late 1950s and early 1960s with songs such as “Crazy,” “Sweet Dreams,” and “I Fall to Pieces” originally songs of the late singer.

COST: $25 General Admission: $28 Reserved Section
