Saturday, Feb. 22 Rotary Club crab feed WHEN: 5:30 p.m. cocktails, 7 p.m. dinner

WHERE: F.D.E.S. Hall, 501 Ward Ave.

DETAILS: The Patterson Rotary Club will host its 15th annual dinner with all-you-can-eat crab, potatoes, green salad and rolls. The evening will also feature a silent auction and donation drawing for prizes. Cash or check only. Money raised goes back to the community.

Thursday, Feb. 27 Garden Club meeting

WHERE: Las Palmas Mobile Estates Clubhouse, 250 E. Las Palmas Ave.

DETAILS: One of the garden club members will present an Easter Egg Make and Take project at this meeting. The morning coffee routine will be followed by guest speaker Ed Perry, who will talk on the topic of trees on the West Side.

Friday, March 7 and March 21 Sacred Heart-Lions Club fish fry

WHEN: 5 to 8 p.m.

WHERE: Bonaventure Hall, 505 M St.

DETAILS: The Patterson Lions Club and Sacred Heart Catholic School will co-host a fish fry meal that includes a baked potato or fries, bread and salad. Tickets are available at the door, from any Patterson Lions Club member or Sacred Heart Catholic School parent.

COST: $12 for adults, $6 for children younger than 12

Saturday, March 8 Soroptimists host evening event

WHEN: 6 to 10 p.m.

WHERE: Masonic Hall, 650 N. Sixth St.

DETAILS: Soroptimist International of Patterson will host its first Martini Mayhem as part of the worldwide organization’s Saturday of Service. The event will feature a sampling of martinis, hors d’oeuvres, music, donation drawing for prizes and a cigar bar. Profits will go to help women and children in the community. Soroptimists will transport partygoers to and from their homes by prior arrangement if guests choose to call the number below.
