Patterson’s Chris DiPiero and Robert Molina are the Week 5 co-winners of the Irrigator’s football contest. Both contestants tallied 17-5 records and predicted the same tie-breaker score to claim a share of the $25 prize.

DiPiero and Molina each picked seven of 11 NFL games and 10 of 11 college games correctly during an upset-laden week on the gridiron.

Kathy Rickerson, also of Patterson, won a box of candy from All Seasons Travel with her tie-breaker prediction of the New England Patriots defeating the Atlanta Falcons, 31-23.

The Patriots topped the Falcons 30-23 on Sunday night.

Entries are due at the Patterson Irrigator, 26 N. Third St., by 5 p.m. Friday, or must be postmarked by 5 p.m.

The football contest wraps up the weekend of Nov. 15.
