Dreading the drive

EDITOR:

I have lived in Patterson for quite some time now, but lately I dread driving some streets — specifically Highway 33. When I come to the traffic light at Las Palmas going North, I always forget that the right side of the lane, does not trigger the light. If there is no traffic in the left lane, you stand there forever. All other traffic goes — except you. Even after the North traffic goes, and you think it’s your turn, well, forget it. Can they please change this? Also at M Street, just before you get there, the green light turns red, even if there is no traffic from any other side. But, you just have to wait, for what? Why turn red? Please take notice of this, city of Patterson and make it easier for the cars.
