Emanuel Family Practice in Patterson will be offering a free flu shot clinic for the first 300 adults to attend from noon until 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 7 at 1010 West Las Palmas Ave., Suite 3, in the True Value Center in Patterson.

Members must be at least 18-years-old to participate. Dr. Shelle Glover of the Patterson-based location will be in attendance to answer questions, as well as provide services. Light refreshments will also be available to those who attend.

“Getting a flu shot is recommended for almost everyone, but it’s especially important for people who can develop a more serious illness from the flu,” said Dr. Glover. “That includes pregnant women and seniors, and people who have medical conditions like asthma, diabetes and chronic lung disease.”

Emanuel Medical Center is a not-for-profit, community-based Christian hospital. The center provides emergency, critical care, pediatric, cardiovascular services, cancer diagnosis and treatment, women’s health services, surgery, and hospice services. The local practice also accepts most insurance plans, including Medi-Cal and Medicare.
