02/21/2013--Fire captains and a fire prevention specialist are sworn in to their new positions within the Patterson Fire Department by Fire Chief Steve Hall Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the regular Patterson City Council Meeting. The captains are David Hohl, Chris Priola, Marty Greunke, Jonathan Schali, Doug Ott and Don Armario.
Carrie Silveira also joined the department as fire prevention specialist.
In addition, Mike Ambrosino has been promoted to training captain.
The department began recruitment in late November, which culminated in a test for applicants and an interview process.
Silveira was interviewed in November by an outside panel of fire experts.
