In a recent “Adam Gray For Assembly” radio commercial, he complains of negative attacks and then proceeds to list California public unions that support him. These unions lobby lawmakers to represent them — not us — on lofty pensions, etc., throughout each year.
The California Teachers Association For Better Citizenship contributed $7,800 to Gray’s campaign. The California State Law Enforcement Association, based in Sacramento, gave him $3,900. The California Department of Forestry Firefighters, based in Sacramento, gave $2,300.
While it is important that we as tax-paying citizens obey the law, it is just as crucial that we hold politicians like Adam Gray accountable. If elected, who do you think he will listen to more: “big dollar” union contributors — who exist on tax money that we pay state employees — or you?
Of further consideration are the left-wing politicians who are bankrolling Gray. Bay Area state Sen. Leland Yee’s campaign committee handed Mr. Gray $3,900. The campaign committee of Los Angeles-area Assemblyman Anthony Portantino, a gun control advocate, gave $2,500.
Don’t be fooled. Adam Gray is “their” man. Let’s support Jack Mobley for Assembly, a true fiscal conservative who sticks to his guns, and valley principles.
Sincerely,
Narinder Mann, Ceres
