Hamilton graduates from college

Jeannie D. Hamilton of Patterson graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English on Saturday, May 4. She and was joined by about 1,450 graduates at the spring commencement ceremonies.

Hamilton, daughter of Diane and Gene Hamilton of Patterson, was the 2009 class valedictorian at Turlock Christian High School. She was an English major at the university, where she earned Dean’s List honors for all four years of school.

Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical Christian university 26 miles northeast of Los Angeles. More than 9,200 students take classes on campus, online and at regional centers throughout Southern California.
