JV wrestlers bring medals back from Ceres tourney

Patterson High’s junior varsity wrestlers brought back six gold medals and other top awards from Saturday’s Central Valley High Invitational in Ceres.

Collecting gold medals for the Tigers at the event were Sean DeOcampo (106 pounds), Tony Halcon (126), Ethan Schut (126), Aidan Fredrickson (132), Joseph Ruelas (145) and Stephen Pham (220).

Patterson’s Sean Apostol (120), Keith Gordon (138) and Pavi Pineda (152) all took second in their brackets, and Kinoa Garza (120), James Miller (138), Lucero Vargas (138, girls) and Francisco Plasencia (195) finished third.
