Library programs offer family fun

Patterson Branch Library is offering programs for children, teenagers and families during the month of January.

Several free events are scheduled at the library, 46 N Salado Ave. Materials are provided for all crafts.

• Saturday, Jan. 12: Scrapbooking class, noon to 4:45 p.m.

• Wednesday, Jan. 16: Children’s craft, Bottle Belly Snowman, 3:30 p.m.

• Wednesday, Jan. 23: Teen game night and duct tape craft, 4 p.m.

• Saturday, Jan. 26: Family movie, title to be announced, 2 p.m.

The library has also started a new preschool story-time session that will run Tuesdays from Jan. 8 to March 26. Children age 5 and younger, accompanied by an adult, can attend the 9:30 or 10:30 a.m. story time.
