It was with great pleasure that I read in the Irrigator that Ed Maring was willing to seek a seat on the Del Puerto Health Care District board of directors.
Ed is uniquely qualified to serve on this board at this time. He has the experience, knowledge and intelligence to make a significant contribution to the district. At a time when our area communities must move carefully into the future, Ed’s experience could be priceless.
Many people know of Ed’s commitment to the success of the health care services of this community. I served on this board with Ed and saw “first hand” that he always goes beyond expectations of board members. His focus has been to offer excellent health care and as many health care specialties as possible to area citizens and to do this in a fiscally responsible way.
In the past, when Ed was president of the board, the district was financially viable, and a variety of medical services were offered at the district’s clinic. During the time when Ed was on the board, the board worked as a team and the citizens of the area were the beneficiaries of these efforts.
I believe that Ed Maring could definitely be a key person to help guide the district on a successful path now and in the future. I further believe that it is in our best interest to vote for Ed Maring to fill a seat on the board of directors of the Del Puerto Health Care District.
