Patterson 50-Plus Club will meet at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at the Hammon Senior Center, 1033 W. Las Palmas Ave.

Those who attend should take a potluck dish to share and a table service to use.

New officers are Tonya Paez, president; Bob Covolo, vice president; Cathie Ferreira, secretary; and Laura Broggi, treasurer.

Paez, the group’s president, is a Colombian native who came to California in 1970 with her husband, Raul. The couple has two sons and three grandchildren and lived in Concord, Danville and Livermore before moving to Patterson three years ago.

Paez works with Greg Nunes Realty and is in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults program at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In her spare time, she knits blankets for new babies in the parish. She enjoys biking and swimming.

Patterson 50-Plus Club welcomes new members and guests to its monthly meetings.

For information: Tonya Paez, 925-352-4727

Members of any club on the West Side who would like to share news about their group are invited to send email to, call 892-6187 or leave a note at the Patterson Irrigator offices, 26 N. Third St.
