Paint for Freedom is seeking artwork donations for this year’s art gala set for Saturday, Aug. 16 at the Patterson Covenant Church, 435 W. Las Palmas Ave.

The Paint for Freedom fundraiser and auction raises money for “New Day for Children” — programs for victims of human trafficking.

Interested artists are welcome to join in as local children and adults create artwork for the auction. This year’s theme is “Each One Teach One.”

The paints will be supplied. Artists are invited to showcase their energy, enthusiasm and creativity to create a combination of spiritual and free art forms.

The goal is to educate the community about the growing problem of human trafficking as well as raise money for an important cause.

Artists can join in and create artwork from 7 to 9 p.m. the first and third Wednesdays of each month at Patterson Covenant Church, 435 W. Las Palmas Ave. or artwork can be mailed to the above address.

For information: Michelle Lum, 408-316-8650.
