May 20

• 10 p.m.:
Deputies found a gold Saturn abandoned in the roadway on the 1300 block of Shetland Way. When police contacted the owner of the car, he said it had been stolen. Evidence found inside the car lead to the arrest of James Dean Lysend, 18, of Patterson, on suspicion of auto theft.

• 10:30 p.m.: A 28-year-old Patterson woman was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence.

• 11 p.m.: Someone on the 1400 block of Cliff Swallow Drive reported that a red, four-door 1997 Honda Civic had been stolen.

• 11:01 p.m.: After a witness reported a woman who appeared to be confused and need help on the 100 block of North Third Street, deputies found Gloria Olveda, 49, of Patterson, and determined that she was under the influence of drugs. Olveda was taken to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, where she received medical care and was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of narcotics.

May 19

• 12:04 a.m.:
Deputies arrested Francisco Jara, 42, of Patterson, on a felony warrant near Highway 33 and C Street.

• 2:18 a.m.: A homeowner awoke and saw three hooded males walking away from his pickup, which was parked in his driveway on the 500 block of Ridge Creek Lane. He checked the vehicle and found it ransacked, missing a GPS and digital camera. Deputies checked the area but could not find the suspects.

• 4:15 p.m.: A caller told police that jewelry and electronics were missing after a home burglary on the 200 block of South Sixth Street. The burglars are thought to have entered through an unlocked rear window.

• 11 p.m.: Following a report of a person brandishing a weapon near the corner of First Street and Las Palmas Avenue, deputies arrested a 13-year-old boy on suspicion of possessing a knife. Two adults were also arrested after a loaded handgun was found in a stroller with their 2-year-old child. Lisa Hernandez, 21, of Patterson, was booked on suspicion of child endangerment, and Wilbur Garcia, 19, also of Patterson, was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a loaded firearm in a public place and child endangerment.

May 18

• 11 a.m.:
A victim of domestic violence went to Patterson Police Services to report that her boyfriend had stabbed her three days earlier. She received medical treatment for the wound and filed a report. The boyfriend has been identified, and an arrest is pending.

May 17

• 5:38 p.m.:
Residents reported hearing several gunshots and seeing a man or boy running from the 200 block of South Third Street. No damage and no injuries were reported.
