Police arrested a 17-year-old Patterson High School student and his dealer Nov. 4 on the school’s campus after both were caught in an exchange of about a gram of marijuana.
The dealer, identified as 20-year-old Steven Pyle of Patterson, was found at about 5 p.m. on the 1000 block of Sperry Avenue and arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana, transportation of marijuana, and bail enhancements — all felonies, according to Sgt. Joe Camarda of the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department.
The male student — whose identity was not released because he's a juvenile — was also arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana.
When he was arrested, Pyle was already out on bail for controlled substance charges, Camarda said.
No other information was available because of ongoing investigations, he said.
