Police are seeking help from the public as they attempt to solve a burglary in July at La Perla Tapatia.

Patterson Police Services Detective Troy Silcox said two men entered the store, at 201 S. El Circulo, at about 8 p.m. July 18.

One of the men distracted the cashier by coaxing him toward the back of the store while another grabbed a bag of money that was behind a checkout counter, Silcox said. He would not provide more specific details.

The two men then walked out of the store, Silcox said. No vehicle description was available.

The men are both described as black males — one about 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a flat cap and glasses. The other is only described as 6 feet tall and 190 pounds.

Anyone with additional information about this case can contact Detective Silcox at 892-5071.
