The Howard Training Center Senior Meal Program provides lunches at 11:45 a.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Hammon Senior Center, 1033 W. Las Palmas Ave.

Local businesses and individuals provide lunches on Thursdays at the senior center.

The suggested donation is $2 for men and women age 60 and older. Those younger than 60 must pay $5. Thursday meals are provided by community organizations.

Reservations should be made before noon a day in advance by calling 895-8197 for meals on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays or 895-8180 for Thursday meals.

Thursday, Dec. 5: Lunch provided by businesses and individuals

Friday: Baked potato with chili and cheese, carrot raisin salad, orange juice, cornbread muffins

Monday, Dec. 9: Rotini with meat sauce, spinach salad with cherry tomatoes, green beans, garlic French bread

Tuesday: Marinated chicken sandwich on whole wheat roll, tomato soup, California blend vegetables, pudding, apple juice

Wednesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed garlic spinach, pineapple, wheat bread

Thursday: Lunch provided by business and individuals

Friday: Barbecue pulled pork on a bun, creamy coleslaw, sweet potato, orange juice

Monday, Dec. 16: Breaded fish fillet with lemon and tartar sauce, peas and carrots, coleslaw, fresh fruit, wheat roll

Tuesday: Beef stew with mashed potatoes, tossed salad with Thousand Island dressing, pears, and wheat bread

Wednesday: Chicken cacciatore, pasta, mixed vegetables, orange juice, and fresh fruit

Thursday: Lunch provided by businesses and individuals

Friday: Two beef tacos on a flour tortilla with cheese, lettuce and tomatoes, yellow corn, ambrosia fruit salad

Monday, Dec. 23: Closed

Tuesday, Dec. 24: Closed

Wednesday: Dec. 25: Closed

Thursday, Dec. 26: Lunch provided by area businesses and individuals

Friday: Chicken salad croissant, vegetable soup. Mandarin oranges, juice

Monday, Dec. 30: Club sandwich on wheat bread, chicken noodle soup, tomato juice

Tuesday: Salisbury steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, California blend, peaches, biscuit
