Seven local hoopsters earn all-WAC recognition

Several basketball players from Patterson High have been picked as all-league performers by coaches of the Western Athletic Conference.

Four Patterson boys players made the 2012-13 all-WAC basketball teams, the league office announced Tuesday, Feb. 26. The Tigers finished the season 22-7.

Senior Keegan Sanchez and junior Jordan Levu were named to the first team, while junior Cariaun Williams earned second-team honors.

Skylar Job, a senior, received an honorable mention.

The Patterson girls squad (24-3) put three players on all-WAC teams.

Sophomore Shealyn Craven was selected to the first team.

Mele Tupouata and Jovanah Arrington, both juniors, are on the second team.
