Stolen sentimental items

EDITOR:

The latest thing stolen from the front of my property is my bird bath. It had great sentimental value.

I purchased it over 20 years ago because it reminded me of my sons when they were young and loved our Golden Retriever, Megan, so much. The bird bath had a young boy hugging a Golden Retriever in its center.

In the past, I have had garden lights, a rocking chair and a lighted Christmas star stolen. A lot of people pass by my house daily, as I live close to the schools. I can’t imagine that the people who stole the items really needed them.

The bird bath is irreplaceable. I am very sad about its loss. So if you know who stole it, please encourage the person to return it. Sneak up in the dark of night and put it back.

Patterson resident
