Local graduates Travis Trethewey and Marissa Price celebrated their final day as high school students during Berean Christian’s graduation ceremony on Friday, June 13 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.

After marching to the front of the small gathering, Pastor Paul Johnson asked Price and Trethewey to speak before the public and welcomed guest speaker Matthew McCoon, a 2008 graduate of Berean Christian, to share his insight and words of wisdom for the former students.

Awards were also presented to the two graduates, including the Areta Award and Richard Hove Scholarship.

Non-graduate Kristin Trethewey also recieved the most outstanding student of the year award, where her name will forever be marked on a plaque on the wall.
