The Del Puerto Health Care District Board hasn’t decided the next move in its effort to relocate its health center, board members announced Tuesday, June 2.

The district received a setback in its attempt to move its health care facility when the Patterson City Council deemed a lengthy environmental review would be needed before the move could go forward.

Board members exited their closed session June 2 and said they are still considering what to do next. The board wants to get the health facility out of its location at 1108 Ward Avenue and move it to the Keystone Pacific Business Park in western Patterson.

The district received initial approvals from the Patterson Planning Commission, but an appeal from the facility’s landlord, John Ramos, led to the council’s decision to block the move.
