Local hero and U.S. Marine, Pedro Magana returned home from service in the Middle East Monday evening, Oct. 7. He was greeted by over a dozen family, friends and supporters on Delphia Drive after a mass message was sent over the internet to line the streets with flags and American symbols.

I'm a little late here, but welcome back. Semper Fi and I hope your homecoming is more heartfelt that ours' 45 years ago. Civilians; you cannot imagine what our troops are subjected to. Let your heart tell you how to welcome him. Sincerely, A Vet.
