When the dust has cleared and the distractions have subsided, let us hope that we’ve made the right choices at the polls on Nov. 2.
James Leonard has managed to rise above the ugly nature of politics. He’s maintained dignity in the face of a very personal attack. Mr. Leonard has not become embroiled in a controversy by accepting the bait.
That is the kind of clear-headed, rational, logical and independent thinking that the residents of Patterson deserve on their City Council.
