09-14-11--Patterson and West Stanislaus fire fighters douse the remnants of a Frontier Communications boom truck that caught fire at the intersection of Pomegranate and Sycamore Avenues Wednesday morning. A Frontier Communications boom lift truck caught fire unexpectedly Wednesday morning at the intesection of Pomegranate and Sycamore Avenues in the south Patterson colony.

The flames were quickly extinguished by Patterson and West Stanislaus fire fighters and no injuries were reported in the single vehicle blaze. The driver pulled over then heard a loud explosion before the vehicle burst into flames.
