The Wildcats (5-0) remain unbeaten with a 4-2 besting of visiting Harmony on Sept. 27 and finished the week with a 12-0 romp over St. Anthony's in Atwater on Sept. 29.
"Our team is getting better with every game, and the kids are having fun," Walnut Grove coach Alex Saballos said. "It's a great experience for all of us."
Against Harmony, the Wildcats got one goal apiece from Emilio Saballos, Elbert Rincon, Mauricio Gallardo and Hugo Gonzalez. Teammate Gonzalo Rodriguez added an assist.
Kevan Diaz and Jose Rodriguez led Walnut Grove on defense.
Two days later, the Wildcats ran St. Anthony's off the pitch by scoring at an impressive clip.
"The game was a complete team effort," Saballos said.
