The Del Puerto Health Care District board of trustees held a special meeting on Friday afternoon Jan. 13 and agreed to contract with a medical group to provide the medical director and physician services for the Del Puerto Health Care Center.
Chad Vargas, CEO of the health care district, will present all bids from medical groups to the board for decision by the Monday, Jan. 30 regular meeting.
The district’s medical director, Dr. Ali Wahid, ended his tenure with the district this week and will pursue his own private medical practice.
