Mr. Ban, 90, was a native of San Jose and a resident of Crows Landing for 47 years. He was a self-employed farmer for 60 years and a World War II Army veteran. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson.
Mr. Ban is survived by his wife, Nancy Ban of Crows Landing and brother, Anthony Ban of San Jose.
A visitation will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, followed by a recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., Patterson. Wednesday’s Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 529 I St., Patterson. Burial will be private.
