After a baseball season that saw Patterson put together its first Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV playoff run in three years, the Tigers’ hard work appeared to pay off as the All-Western Athletic Conference team was announced.

Two Tigers were honored with first-team all-WAC spots, with Patterson seniors Frankie Sanchez and Robert Marroquin earning berths, the league office announced Friday, May 11.

Patterson junior Joey Lopes was selected to the conference’s second team, while teammate senior Sean Rainwater received an honorable mention.
