Litterbugs set bad example

I moved back here two years ago, after living in Washington state for 22 years. I am shocked at the level of littering we have in our community. Do people not have any community pride here, or have they just become lazy? I see more trash next to the trash receptacles than in them. After somebody uses the parks, they should at least pick up after themselves. Our children should learn from good examples, not bad ones.

What about all the pigs that unload all their garbage unto the side of the road so that the farmers get to clean it up. Every weekend I see cars driving down to the river with loads of garbage. A few minutes later drive by with all their kids in the truck. Yep real good example for their kids. Call the police and IF they do show up the offenders are long gone. I have even went down and picked up pieces of mail with numerous names and address and taken it to the police station.
