Patterson residents are invited to help the Education Foundation of Stanislaus County support local youth by attending the Community Brunch: Serving Youth from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 9, a Sunday, at John Thurman Field, 601 Neece Drive, in Modesto.

The foundation is offering an all-you-can-eat champagne buffet brunch and entertainment. Entertainment will include the Youth Entertainment Stage Company, the Johansen Choral Singers and the Beyer High School Band.

Education Foundation of Stanislaus County and four other charities will benefit from the proceeds of the community brunch, coordinated by the Costa Family Foundation. The other four are Stanislaus County Police Activities League, The First Tee, Salvation Army and Promise Scholars.

Education Foundation of Stanislaus County, founded in 2002, is a nonprofit that supports academic events, sixth-grade outdoor education and YES Company for students of the county’s school.

Tickets can be purchased for $50 each online at www.edfoundationstan.org.
