A Celebration of Life will be observed at a future date for Humbert “Al” Fosco, who died on Saturday, Aug. 11, with his wife and family by his side in their Patterson home.
Mr. Fosco, 81, was born June 11, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended schools in Cleveland. He served his country in the United States Army. After serving in the army, he moved to California and pursued a career in construction. He was an Operating Engineer for 40 years. He loved the adventure of working in many different countries around the world.
Mr. Fosco was very proud of his Sicilian heritage and many enjoyed his authentic cooking. He had a love for music and dancing which he and his wife, Ann, enjoyed together as often as possible. He was a loyal, loving, dedicated husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Mr. Fosco is survived by his loving wife, Ann Schick Fosco, his children, Bernadette and her husband, Al DeLaMotte, Benedetto and wife, Amanda Fosco, Yvette Fosco, Frances amd husband, Joe Innocenti, Emma Marquez, and Sam Schick; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, as well as his sisters, Violet Brun, Rosie and her husband, Richard Grzybowski, and brother, John and his wife, Vicky Fosco, and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Fosco was preceded in death by his parents, Benedetto and Josephine Fosco, as well as his sisters, Anna Bodzioney, Angie Bocian, Rose Fosco, and his brother, Michael Fosco.
