A store clerk told police that a male suspect entered the Patterson Liquor and Food gas station at 320 N. Second St. at about 12:30 p.m., showing the clerk a handgun and demanding cash and undisclosed items. The clerk told the investigators the robber left in an unknown direction, according to Patterson Police Sgt. John Walker.
The clerk did not provide any other descriptive details about the suspect, and deputies are reviewing surveillance tapes for clues. The robbery remains under investigation.
