Audrey Marie Bettencourt of Westley and Ronald Chavez III of Tracy were married at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Tracy.

Monsignor Ivo Rocha and Deacon Peter Ryza married the couple.

Audrey is the daughter of Henry and Irene Bettencourt of Westley. She is the general manger of Crown Nut Co. in Tracy.

Ronald is the son of Rita and Vince Bogetti of Patterson and the late Ronald Chavez II of Tracy. He is a heavy haul transport coordinator for Double D Transportation in Dublin.

The bride’s sisters, Christine Lara of Patterson and Rebecca Bettencourt of Westley, were her matron and maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Audrey’s cousins Jillian Crow of Crows Landing and Julie Lara of Vernalis and sisters-in-law Tracee Bettencourt of Modesto and Jennifer Bogetti of Tracy.

Ronald’s best men were John Arellano, a brother-in-law, and Brian McDonald, a cousin, both Tracy residents. Ronald’s son Zachary Chavez acted as an honorary best man for his father. Groomsmen were Ronald’s brother, Brandon Bogetti of Tracy; brothers-in- law Christopher Bettencourt of Modesto and Jarod Lara of Patterson; cousin Michael Bogetti of Westley; and friend Bo Tankersley of Tracy.

Christian Chavez, the groom’s son, and James and Dustin Lara, the bride’s nephews, were ring bearers.

The reception was celebrated at The Palm Event Center in Pleasanton.

After a one-week honeymoon to San Luis Obispo, the couple is at home in Vernalis.
