A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 12, for Elvira Bonita Lloyd, also known as “Granny,” who died on Sept. 26, 2012.
Mrs. Lloyd, 82, was born on June 13, 1930, in Berkeley and has resided in Patterson since 1993.
Mrs. Lloyd will be fondly remembered for her strong independent attitude, her fun loving personality, kindness and compassion for others, and above all her steadfast faith in God, according to her family.
Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her daughter, Lauren Torres; two granddaughters, Erlinda Perez and Erica Torres and sisters, Rita Wells and Carol Perry, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mass will be celebrated at 6 p.m.on Friday, Oct 12, at Sacred Heart catholic Church, 529 I St., Patterson, followed by a celebration of her life at the Masonic Hall 650 N. Sixth St., Patterson.
The family requests that those who wish to, please send flowers to Sacred Heart Church.
