I went to Save Mart on Friday, Oct. 12, to buy some necessities and found out that its state Electronic Benefit Transfer system — or California’s — temporarily wasn’t working.
Leaving terribly disappointed and without my groceries, I went home at a loss as to what to do and how long to wait to go back to see if the system was fixed.
About 15 minutes after I walked home, there was a knock at our door, and no one was there. No, it wasn't kids playing around. There on our doorstep were all the groceries I was trying to purchase.
If my good Samaritan is reading this, thank you very much from the bottom of my heart, and God bless you. My family has always liked Patterson ever since we moved here several years ago, but now are even more impressed!
Sincerely,
Rick Reis, Patterson
