The Patterson Apricot Fiesta, scheduled for May 31 and June 1 and 2, has sent out its annual membership drive letters.

The 43rd annual celebration recognizes the apricot industry and the city of Patterson. Various categories of membership are offered.

Membership costs $10, $25 for a family or $43 to become a platinum fireworks member.

Fiesta weekend features fireworks, craft and commercial vendors, food booths, a parade, entertainment, a firefighters muster and children’s games. Little Mr. and Miss Apricot and Miss Patterson royalty are crowned Friday night on the downtown stage.

Those who send in membership dues receive a fiesta decal and a 2013 Apricot Fiesta schedule of events that will be mailed in the spring. Platinum fireworks members also receive a special Apricot Fiesta gift.

Checks should be made payable to Patterson Apricot Fiesta and be sent to P.O. Box 442, Patterson, CA 95363.
