Gun owner alert: Patterson Mayor Luis Molina belongs to a national group of mayors founded by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg called Mayors Against Illegal Guns. The main purpose of the coalition is to break the grip of the National Rifle Association with legislators. This, of course, would consequently weaken the Second Amendment gun ownership right to protect ourselves and our respective families.

One is left to wonder if Mayor Molina also agrees with Mayor Bloomberg’s philosophy of pushing to ban sodas that are more than 16 ounces and locking up baby formula in hospitals to encourage more mothers to breastfeed.

Earlier this year, Molina held a precinct walk meeting for congressional candidate Jose Hernandez.

As Hernandez is a left-wing ideologue, his association with Molina causes me not to trust either man with the right to bear arms. For the same reason, I’m feeling lucky to still have the right to bear a 2-liter Coca-Cola.
