California Highway Patrol officer John Paraguay said Francisco Robles, 59, was traveling south on I-5 around 7:15 a.m. when his 2010 Nissan Versa went off the right edge of the road and he overcorrected to the left and lost control. The car rolled over and ended up near the center divide.
No other vehicles or passengers were involved, and the freeway remained open.
