Manuel Vargas, 43, of Patterson passed away Saturday, Nov. 3 at his residence.
Mr. Vargas was a native of Mexico and was a resident of Patterson for 25 years. He was a Self Employed Truck Driver for 10 years and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson.
Mr. Vargas is survived by his wife, Velia Vargas of Patterson; sons, Noel Vargas and Jose Vargas both of Patterson; daughter, Maria Vargas of Patterson; brothers, Mario Vargas and Roberto Vargas both of Patterson, Enrique Vargas of Turlock, David Vargas and Ernesto Vargas both of Arvin, Arturo Vargas of Mexico; sisters, Lupe Morales and Trini Turan both of Arvin and 3 grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his brother, Antonio Vargas.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, November 7th followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson. A second visitation will be held at 8:30 am, Thursday, November 8th followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Patterson District Cemetery.
