Police say two males entered the store at 320 N. Second St. in Patterson and one of the suspects produced a weapon, demanding money from the cashier.
The employee was not injured, and the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and miscellaneous items from the store.
Deputies are investigating the incident and are busy reviewing surveillance video and other undisclosed evidence at the scene. One of the suspects was described as a younger black male. One of images provided by police show a male entering the store through the front door wearing a white shirt, a black and white jacket and a white baseball cap.
Investigators will be looking at other surveillance footage in the area and are asking the public to help identify the suspects seen in some surveillance photos.
“We don’t have a lot of information at this point,” Patterson Police Detective Mike Fisher said. “We’re looking to see if the public can help.”
