The Tigers outscored Millennium 30-10 in the second quarter and closed the first half with a 15-2 run that rolled over into a dominant third period as Patterson extended its winning streak to four games.
Skylar Job (13 points, five rebounds) and Michael Smith (11 points) scored six points each in the first quarter, guiding Patterson to a 19-8 lead after eight minutes of play.
Millennium scored the first four points of the second period before Patterson (7-3) again dialed up the offense.
Justin Rodriguez (five rebounds) scored 13 of his team-high 16 points in the second, including the final seven points of the first half.
But it was Job who got the home crowd into the game by driving down the lane, attacking the rim, and putting in a two-handed dunk to give Patterson a 32-14 advantage.
The Tigers closed the half on a 15-2 tear, which included three 3-pointers, one apiece from Keegan Sanchez (nine points, eight assists), Job and Rodriguez.
Job fired home a one-handed dunk to open the second half, and Sanchez followed with a 3-pointer, increasing Patterson's lead to 54-18.
The Tigers connected on four third-quarter 3's to take a 67-26 edge into the final quarter of play.
Jordan Levu scored nine points with 10 rebounds and five steals, and Richard Garcia had five points and pulled down four boards for Patterson.
The Tigers will continue the Holiday Classic today, Dec. 21 as they face Liberty Ranch High of Galt at 7:30 p.m.
Patterson 93, Hughson 40
Patterson had three players score in double-digits on Wednesday, Dec. 19 to help take down visiting Hughson High.
Sanchez (7-for-12 on 3-pointers) led all scorers with 40 points in the game. He also added six rebounds, four assists and two steals. Smith finished with 11 points, five assists and two rebounds, while Rodriguez contributed 10 points and four assists. Levu posted six points and 10 boards.
Junior varsity
With a pair of players scoring in double figures, the JV Tigers blasted Millennium High of Tracy, 64-12, in the first round of the Thompson Chevrolet Holiday Classic.
Gurkirt Heerey topped the Tigers with 12 points, while teammate DeOnte West had 10. Dylan Halland added a team-high eight rebounds for Patterson.
The Tigers play Merced High today, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m., at Creekside Middle School, 535 Peregrine Drive in Patterson.
