Marty Hance

A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, Dec. 28, for Marty Hance of Patterson, who died Friday, Dec. 21, at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.

Mr. Hance, 43, was a native and lifetime resident of Patterson. He attended schools in Grayson and Patterson and went on to pursue a career as an automotive and heavy equipment mechanic for 25 years. Mr. Hance enjoyed the outdoors and liked to ride dirt bikes, go camping at Pismo Beach and spend time with his family, but his passion was muscle cars.

Mr. Hance is survived by his wife, Donna Hance along with; son, Kurtis Hance; daughters, Cambria Hance and Rebecca Hance and grandson Noah Caloca, all of Patterson; sisters, Rosemary Alberta of Merced and Tina Hance of Patterson and grandmother, Margaret Alberta, also of Patterson. His parents, Gurvis and Marlene Hance, preceded him in death.

A visitation will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., in Patterson. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec.28, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 650 W. Las Palmas Ave., in Patterson. Burial will follow at Patterson District Cemetery, 10800 Highway 33, Patterson.
