That’s because Paola Estrada, who owns the establishment, was co-owner of Serenity Day Spa on El Circulo near McAuley Ford for 1½ years before closing a couple of years ago to have a baby.
Estrada, who described herself as artistic, said she enjoys doing nails and loves dealing with the public. She has worked in the beauty industry for seven years and said she wants her shop to be an inviting place where customers can feel pampered in a quiet, soothing environment.
“I want to have a cozy little place that people can come and enjoy where it’s not so loud,” Estrada said.
For now, she will work one-on-one with her clients, but she is seeking a massage therapist to join her at the salon.
Estrada has a “Bow-tique” in her establishment, featuring customized handmade bows for babies, children and adults. She also offers handmade birthstone glass rosary beads and stocks beauty products and personal-care gift baskets for men and women even some with themes such as Valentine’s Day.
Perfect Touch Nail Salon will be open by appointment only six days a week beginning Feb. 4. For information: 409-0245.
