A suspect toting what appeared to be a gun with a red tip robbed two people while they were attempting to make a deposit into a night drop box at U.S. Bank on Plaza Circle and West Las Palmas Avenue Dec. 30.

The man, who was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, came up behind two employees from the Dollar Tree store in Patterson just before 7:45 a.m. as they were attempting to make the drop and ordered them to hand over a deposit bag, according to Patterson Police Sgt. John Walker. Afterward, they fled in an unknown direction, he said. Victims did not have any other descriptive details, Walker said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Patterson Police Services at 209-892-5071.
