An accident shook a western Patterson neighborhood Tuesday, Jan. 8, when an unidentified man driving a late-model Nissan Titan pickup hit a 2001 Honda Accord around 11:30 a.m. and slammed into a house at Granite Creek Drive and Squash Creek Lane.

Chelsea Frazier, who lives in the house, said she heard a loud boom followed by a car alarm. She said she went outside and found the car and the pickup pinned against her house.

Patterson Police Services Sgt. John Walker did not release the name of the man driving the Titan, but he said the man might have had a medical condition that led to the accident.

The man was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated.

No one was seriously hurt in the crash, Walker said.
