The funeral service has been conducted for Mary Elizabeth Reichmuth, 86 of Patterson,
who died at her residence on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.
Mrs. Reichmuth was born on April 16, 1926, in Patterson to parents Roger and Louise Martin. She attended local schools and graduated from Patterson High School class of 1944. Shortly after graduation Mary met and married George Reichmuth, who was a local dairyman and farmer, on June 1, 1946. Together they raised three children
on their Walnut Avenue ranch, where their sons continue to farm today.
Mary was a fulltime homemaker and enjoyed baking, cooking and reading. Mary and George were married for 52 wonderful years before his death in 1998, celebrating 50 years of marriage.
Mrs. Reichmuth is survived by her sons, David Reichmuth and wife, Cindi, and George Reichmuth and wife, Debbie, both of Patterson, and daughter, Jeanette and husband, Carlos Dominguez of Visalia; loving grandchildren, Chad Hayton, Jared Hayton, Ryan Hayton, Amber Ramirez, Heidi Rumminger, Melanie LaBella, Gregory Reichmuth, Elizabeth Anson, David Reichmuth, Jr. and John Reichmuth; and 19 great-grandchildren. Her two sisters, Bessie Martin of Turlock and Virginia Alberti of Modesto, also survive her.
Her husband George, granddaughter, Allison Hayton and parents, Roger Martin and Louise Martin preceded her in death.
A rosary was recited on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson. Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, Jan.9, followed by committal at Patterson Cemetery District.
