Library programs feature something for everyone

Library events for families, children and teenagers are planned throughout February at the Patterson Library, 46 N. Salado Ave. and everyone is invited to join in.

The library’s Preschool Storytime is in full swing until March 26 each Tuesday morning. Children age 5 and younger, accompanied by an adult, can attend the 9:30 or 10:30 a.m. story session.

In addition, the following free events are open to all.

•Saturday, Feb. 9: Scrapbooking class, 12 noon to 4:45 p.m. Bring your own materials

•Monday, Feb. 11: KVIE television presents “TV as Learning Tool” ( in English),10 a.m. to noon (signups required)

•Wednesday, Feb. 13: Children’s Craft Program, Make Chocolate Roses, 3:30 p.m. Materials provided

•Wednesday, Feb. 20: Teen Game Night and Button Maker Craft, 4 p.m. Materials provided

•Monday, Feb. 25: KVIE television presents “TV as a Learning Tool” (in Spanish), 10 a.m. to noon (signups required)

•Wednesday, Feb. 27: Beginning Genealogy, Learn about how to set started with family genealogy, 7 p.m.
